The 2015 GIS Day celebration hosted by the Department of Geography at Binghamton University will be held on November 13th.  GIS day will provide students, faculty and the community with the opportunity to explore, share and learn about the application of Geographic Information Science (GIS) to problems that affect the environment and community. Presentations and exhibits will showcase the use of GIS in geography, environmental science, public health, urban planning, archaeology, geology, biology, ecology, sociology, political science, public administration, public safety, community development, and others.
